HAOFA TIMEPIECE USE GUIDELINES —— K9 Crystal Chronograph Watch

K9 Crystal Chronograph Watch Use Guidelines

For HAOFA K9 Crystal Chronograph Watch. Please follow these guidelines to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of your timepiece.

  1. Initial Use: This watch features a fully automatic mechanical movement that generates power through kinetic energy while worn. For the first use or after prolonged inactivity, shake the watch a few times or wind it manually to ensure it has enough power. Ensure all adjustments and winding are done by turning the crown clockwise to avoid potential damage.
  2. Handling and Care: The K9 crystal case offers a unique and elegant appearance but requires careful handling due to its delicate nature. Avoid dropping or colliding the watch, and refrain from wearing it during high-impact activities such as sports. Keep the watch away from steam and water activities like showering or swimming; it is designed for everyday use such as washing hands and face. If the crystal case breaks, it cannot be repaired and must be replaced entirely.
  3. Chronograph Function: The chronograph is operated using two buttons:
    • The top button (at 2 o’clock) starts and stops the chronograph. Press firmly and quickly to activate or stop the chronograph.
    • The bottom button (at 4 o’clock) resets the chronograph to zero. Ensure the chronograph is stopped before pressing the reset button to avoid damaging the movement.
  4. Watch Band Usage: Handle the watch band with care and avoid bending it in the wrong direction to prevent damage to the crystal lugs that connect the band to the case.
  5. Magnetic Protection: To prevent magnetization of the watch movement, keep the watch away from strong magnetic sources such as Bluetooth speakers, TVs, and mobile phones.
  6. Cleaning: Clean the crystal case using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using cleaning agents with chemicals to prevent damage to the crystal surface.
  7. Water Resistance: The K9 crystal chronograph is not intended for use in water environments. Do not perform time-setting, winding, or chronograph operations while in water to avoid water ingress.
